We’ve tried to answer the most common questions we get asked about our shop in the FAQs below,

BEER ORDERS & DELIVERY

  • The easiest option is via our website where you can order & pay for beers for collection from the brewery or for home delivery
  • You can also pop into the shop Monday – Saturday
  • FREE LOCAL DELIVERY for orders over £30 to the following postcodes:
    • BL0, BL1, BL5, BL6, BL7, BL11, BL2, BL3, BL4, BL78, BL8, BL9

  • Local direct deliveries are usually made between 08:30 – 16:00 Monday – Friday.
  • Local deliveries within 6 miles can often be next day, however deliveries will be arranged with customers directly depending on postcodes and van routes.
  • We use APC and offer next day national courier delivery for orders over £30.
  • Delivery to England & Wales is £7
  • Delivery to Scotland is possible but delivery quotes will be given based on your postcode. Depending on your location, you may be eligible for normal delivery rates, however there are areas which will incur a higher courier fee.
  • We cannot currently deliver to Northern Ireland, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isles of Man & Wight.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to send beer out over the weekend, this is to ensure any hic-ups with deliveries can be ironed out quickly, your beer doesn’t end up lost in the courier system and is delivered to you in peak condition. 
  • Cut off for next day courier delivery is 13:00 on the day before required delivery.
  • If you wish to place an order for delivery before the weekend, we advise placing your order before 13:00 on the Thursday. 
  • Deliveries must be left with an adult over the age of 18. We are not able to leave packages unattended if you are not home, but can leave them with nominated neighbours.
  • Payment must be made in advance for deliveries, this can be via our web shop, or by card over the phone.

THE BREWERY SHOP

  • Our postcode is M26 1AD, and we are at Unit 10 on Dale Industrial Estate – Google Maps may take you into Radcliffe centre – this is wrong. We’re on the industrial estate behind Asda in Radcliffe, next to the Bury Hospice unit (2nd exit on the Asda mini roundabout)
  • You’re very welcome to pre-order via our web shop, however you can also just pop down to see what we have available and have a chat with us to get recommendations
  • You can pay by card or with cash, whichever suits you best
  • The brewery & shop are closed Saturday & Sunday.
  • The shop is open
    • Monday – Friday 09:00 – 16:30
    • If the doors are open earlier/ later, you’re welcome to pop in!
    • Shop opening times may vary on bank holidays – please check our social media channels for holiday hours before travelling. 

Our brewery shop sells a range of gluten free beers, from traditional ales, to lagers and IPAs. These are available in 500ml bottles and 330ml cans & bottles. Have a look at our full range. 

BEER INGREDIENTS & PACKAGING

  • As of 01/01/2022 all our beers are brewed to be gluten free, however it’s important to note that occasionally we may create a new beer recipe which is not GF due to ingredients. We always indicate on the can/ bottle/ cask & keg label clearly whether the beer is GF or not.
  • Each beer also has an allergen information box on the web shop where you can see this information before you buy. Please always check the information on the web shop product page, or on the can or bottle before you purchase it.
  • We brew our beers in the normal way and use an enzyme which removes gluten to sub 20ppm levels (gluten free as per the law). New brews that we create are laboratory tested (Elisa Gluten Test) on initial production and certified. The core range beers are checked and certified when first created, and are tested regularly but not every batch: These beers are brewed each time to GF standard. NB For comparison, Crossed Grain products are only required to be tested annually, we test more frequently than this.

  • Most of our cans and bottles are suitable for vegans, however we sometimes use ingredients which do not suit the vegan ethos; most often this is lactose, but occasionally ingredients such as honey may be used. Please always check the information on the product page, or on the can or bottle before purchasing.
