Wildside Cherry & Hibiscus Pale
This beer was inspired by a chat with a friend of our’s who mentioned a pink beer he’d recently tasted that used hibiscus in the boil.
Hibiscus flowers give the beer an amazing pink colour, plus really lovely fruity citrus and herbal notes and a light characteristic sour zing (NB this isn’t an actual sour beer). Once the now pink beer was out of the boil, we added 100 kilos of cherry puree to the fermenter and finished up with a refreshing fruity pale ale hopped with Amarillo.
