Monthly guest brewery beers
Brewing the weird and wonderful, as well as reliably drinkable beers, Downton Brewery can please beer tourists and session drinkers alike!
We’ve been swapping with Downton for almost 2 years now, and the beers always deliver on quality and interest.
The brewery was established in 2003 and continues to brew innovative beers which often feature herbs, spices and essences, for example this time we have Mad Hare which is an auburn coloured ale brewed with ginger and lemongrass – sure to be a lovely thirst quencher to greet the spring when it comes! In spite of it’s impressive size, at 20 barrel plant the brewery still manages to turn out a diverse range of beers, always striving (as we all do!) to use the best quality ingredients available to make fantastic beers.
